A bare root plant is just what it sounds like – a plant with its roots bare. They’re a convenient option as they arrive dormant, are easy to plant, and quick to establish. Bare roots are brilliant value – by flowering time, they’ve grown beyond their original size, giving you much more for your money than buying the same-sized potted plant later in the season.
